Another Multi-Vehicle Crash at Fresno’s Radio City

FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Another multi-vehicle crash at Fresno’s Radio City.

Scattered pieces of a black Porsche were in the parking lot outside of the Cumulus Media building.

Debris – from the accident that took place at half past 3:00, Friday afternoon.

In the KMJ newsroom, we heard the sound, a horrible screeching noice, and multiple booms as the cars hit together then the Porsche ran off the road.

It shook the entire building, here at Shaw and Harrison.

KMJ’s Newsman Aaron Abeytia, and others ran outside, we called 9-1-1, he learned that the accident happened as an SUV and a Porsche collided.

It’s driver limped out of the car, with an injury to his leg or foot.

No one else seemed injured.

Normally, it’s the area where KMJ Talk Show Host Chris Daniel and other staff are parked. Luckily, this time they weren’t there. Chris was off for the day.

Luckily, too, the students from Bullard Talent Elementary School were not there, nor the orange F.U.S.D. buses that are usually lined-up outside on Harrison, as the District is currently on Winter Break.

Fresno Police officers arrived on motorcycles and a Fresno County Sheriff’s SUV came shortly afterward to take down information from witnesses, and speak with the drivers.

By 4:45pm Friday, the City of Fresno had already sent a street maintenance truck to fix the signs, that were ripped out of the pavement.
