Fresno County’s First West Nile Case of 2018 Confirmed

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Department of Public Health confirmed the first case of West Nile virus in Fresno County for 2018 Friday.

Officials say there have been 9 symptomatic cases throughout the State of California, with no fatalities.

Residents are being urged to use repellent and other methods of reducing contact with mosquitoes.
