FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno Police are hoping video can reunite a dog with its owners.
Champ is a beloved 10 year old Shih tzu dog.
On May 13th, Champ and his owner were walking in the Walmart parking lot at 5125 E. Kings Canyon Rd.
It was at 8:00 a.m. – and the dog was following a short distance behind the owner at the time it was taken.
A mid 90’s Chevy pickup drives up and the driver picks up the dog and leaves with him.
The driver may have believed the dog was abandoned and did not know the owner was looking for the animal.

If you are the person that has the dog, there will be no questions asked, police say they only want to return the dog to his owners who are truly lost without him.
