(KMJ) – Porterville Police hope you can help them nab an alleged burglar. Officers say the man in these photos is sought in a February 21st home burglary on the 1600 block of West Morton Avenue.
Officers say he broke into the home between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm and took several items including a firearm and personal checks.
Later that same day, this suspect attempted to cash one of those checks at a Bank of the Sierra branch in Porterville and that’s when these images were captured. Officers say the clerk refused to cash the check and this suspect left the location.
If you recognize him, you are now asked to call the Porterville Police Department at (559) 782-7400 and refer to case #18-1108.
