USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue makes a two day visit to California.
Perdue was in Modesto on Sunday holding a town hall meeting with local producers hosted by California Farm Bureau.
On Monday morning he joined Western Growers at Grimmway Farm in Arvin, south of Bakersfield, for a round table discussion with more producers.
Secretary Perdue says one reason why he’s in California is to see farming in the valley first hand.
