The Fresno Irrigation District is extending water deliveries through November 12th.
And by the time water deliveries come to an end for this year — the district will have delivered about 575,000 acre feet of water.
The extended delivery schedule will make use of a large water supply that is still available.
Heavy storm activity from last December through February greatly increased the kings river run off to just over 4 million acre feet of water.
