FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A convicted felon has been busted with drugs, guns, cash, and ammo, after a burglary in Kingsburg.
29-year-old Nelson Navarrette of Fowler is accused of buying the weapons from an 18-year-old man, who the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says stole them from a home near Bethel and W. Sierra.
The unidentified man claims he sold the weapons to Navarrette, so he could take his girlfriend to the Big Fresno Fair.
A search warrant of Navarrette’s home recovered the guns, along with cocaine, which was packaged for sale.
