FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — More of those coming to the United States illegally are avoiding California and settling in Texas, according to the latest federal data.
The Golden State’s undocumented population expanded by 16 percent, between 2000 and 2014.
Meanwhile, in Texas, the figure was 75 percent, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
