FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – A Bakersfield man already charged with making online threats and sexual exploitation is linked to another case in Maine.
26 year-old Buster Hernandez is facing federal charges of making bombs threats and sexual exploitation.
The Justice Department says he would contact young girls through social media and blackmail them–threatening to publish sexually explicit photos.
“In his words he wanted to be the worst cyber terrorist that ever lived. The evidence showed that he was well on his way to achieving that goal. He victimized individuals in 10 Federal districts” – Justice Department Testimony.
He appeared in an Indianapolis court on Wednesday, federal authorities now linking him with the sexual extortion of girls in Maine.
Hernandez whose online alias was “Brian Kil” linked to the “Purge of Maine,” a facebook page showing sexually explicit photos of girls in 2015.
Hernandez was ordered held until a bond hearing on September 8th.
