Skibbie calls it the chance of a lifetime.

“Yeah, it was gorgeous. It was a beautiful, beautiful day, they have a lot of forest fires up here so there was a lot of smoke but not where we were. It was totally clear,” said Skibbie.

Shiela Skibbie, his wife, is in education as the co-founder of Fresno’s Kepler School, Steve, himself, working for the Fresno County Office of Education, says education and experience is important for their kids.

“You know it’s a science lesson, it’s beautiful, it’s striking, there’s nothing like it.” – Steve Skibbie.

The Skibbie family is now driving back from Oregon.
