FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a ruling, which may require car dealers to install hand controls, for auto shoppers with disabilities.
It stems from a case in which a San Diego Honda dealer is being sued, for refusing to install a temporary device, for a man paralyzed below the waist.
The ruling does not impose a mandate, but returns the question to the trial court.
