Calif. Revenues Come in Below Projections

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Golden State took in less than $122 billion during fiscal 2016 – 2017.

That’s off nearly $2.7 billion from revised estimates, according to the latest figures from the Calif. State Controller’s office.

All three major sources of revenue — personal, corporate, and sales taxes — fell short.

Still, California has not explored external borrowing for 2 years.
