FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The number of teen using electronic cigarettes, or ‘vaping’ devices, has fallen substantially, after a dramatic increase.
According to the latest data from the CDC, use of the controversial devices declined by around 800,000 in 2016.
It’s not clear why there was such a notable drop, although stricter regulations on sales may be responsible.
Researchers also say it’s possible the novelty has lost is appeal.
