Survey Reveals Immigration Fears in California

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Almost half of Californians favor a sanctuary state, in which local law enforcement largely leaves immigration matters to the feds.

That’s according to the latest survey from the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California, which also shows significant concerns about tougher immigrations policies, and their affect on the economy.

Similar to other major issues, views are largely split on party lines.

In addition, Californians under the age of 55 are more likely to be worried about the impact of crackdowns on undocumented immigrants.
