Memorial Day Weekend Sees Noticeable Increase in Gas Prices

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The cost of filling up the car this Memorial Day weekend is noticeably higher than it was just days ago.

AAA says the price for a gallon of gas here in Fresno is averaging to $3.14, which is up 12 cents from last week.

That’s nearly twice the increase experienced statewide.

Nationwide, gas is averaging $2.66 a gallon.
