FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – One person is dead, three people are injured after a shooting that led to a car crash in Central Fresno.
Fresno police are now looking for two Hispanic suspects who allegedly shot at a white sedan.
Just before 1:00p.m. on Friday, police responded to multiple gunshots on First between Gettysburg and Ashlan.
Four people in a car had reportedly left a pizza parlor by Gettysburg, and were driving south on First when police say what’s believed to be two Hispanic males on the sidewalk fired at the vehicle.
The driver, a 19 year-old Hispanic male was killed, three people inside were taken to the hospital.
Police Chief Jerry Dyer says it does not appear to be gang related but possibly stemming from an argument but they are still trying to confirm that information.
One bystander on scene, Brittany, says she knew the driver, “The past couple of months, speaking with him, he’s been having problems with a male over a female.”
“We are trying to get people to come forth with information.” -Police Chief Jerry Dyer.
