Bureau of Reclamation Boosts Water Allocations to 100%

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is now planning to deliver 100 percent of the water requested, by growers south of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

Just a few weeks ago, those in the Central Valley Project were told to expect deliveries of only 65 percent.

However, following exceptional snow results from the Calif. Department of Water Resources, the bureau has decided to offer south-of-Delta contractors full deliveries — the first time in more than a decade.
