FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Girl Scouts celebrate a century of cookie sales.
Jordan King is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Girl Scouts of Central California, she and scouts Sarah from Troop 3031 (above 2nd from left) and Vanessa from Troop 2518 (far left) visited KMJ and our Cumulus Radio station to spread the word.
King agrees that Girl Scouts are an American phenomenon, they have been in existance for 105 years and 2017 marks their 100th year of fundraising through cookie sales.
The girls are still knocking on doors, as they did away with the paper sales, so troops are back in front of stores until Friday, February 17th.
New this year: S’mores cookies.
