FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — When it comes to physical health, the picture is improving improving nationwide.
That’s according to the latest Gallup / Healthways Well-Being Index, which examined exercise trends, health and dental insurance stats, as well as smoking rates.
But, California, has fallen behind, albeit slightly.
The state now ranks 13th in the nation when taking overall the well-being into account, down from 11th last year.
However, the index shows that rates of healthcare insecurity, are the lowest they’ve been, in nearly 10 years.
