FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The couple behind the popular HGTV show Flip or Flop have separated.
TMZ reports the split of Tarek and Christina El Moussa comes six months after an incident involving guns and a feared suicide attempt.
Back in May, nearly a dozen deputies and a helicopter responded to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun” at the couple’s Orange County home.
Deputies ended up seizing 5 guns, including an AR-15.
The couple says the incident was an “unfortunate misunderstanding.
HGTV says the pair will continue production on their home renovation series “as scheduled.”
