FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — There are 17 statewide initiatives on the November ballot.
According to a new CalSpeaks survey, 3 of those measures appear to have overwhelming support.
Those include legalizing recreational marijuana use, an effort to increase transparency in the legislature, as well as tougher restrictions on the guns and ammunition.
Meanwhile, Proposition 62, which would replace the death penalty with life in prison, appears headed for defeat.
Proposition 67, which would ban single-use plastic bags, has a plurality of likely voters in favor.
