FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno Police have announced the arrest of a kidnapping suspect. Police responded to a report of a kidnapping on Wednesday and made contact with a victim – who had visible injuries.
The victim said they were forced into a car a few days ago, allegedly by 46-year-old Julio Padilla. They say Padilla then allegedly drove them to a residence on the 4900 block of E. Iowa where they were held captive for two days.
Fresno Police officers were able to locate Padilla and take him into custody with the help of a K-9. They also served a search warrant, and recovered evidence from the home. Padilla has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple charges, including kidnapping, robbery, and false imprisonment.
