FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – October 12th is National Farmer’s Day.
Every day is Farmer’s Day for farmers – something Steve Malanca wants to remind the public of as he is the founder of “My Job Depends On Ag.”
“We created “My Job Depends On Ag” to give people a visual to see where their food comes from and to realize it doesn’t come from a grocery store – there’s a process, and the process takes place here in Central California.” – Steve Malanca, Founder “My Job Depends On Ag.”
You can see his page on Facebook and those California shaped stickers you see on cars up and down the Valley and beyond.
“Our Facebook page now’s got has 60,000 follower in the short 15 months we’ve sold 30,000 of our decals hoping to unite people here in the Valley.” – Steve Malanca.
So, hastag #nationalfarmersday – tweet your thanks to farmers for what they do – bringing food to the tables of the nation and the world.
