Fresno Unified Students Attending 4.0 Rally

BIG FRESNO FAIR

FRESNO (KMJ) – Fresno Unified has invited all Fresno County 8th through 12th graders, who have 4.0 or better grade point average to attend the Big Fresno Fair for free.

The 4.0 & Above Program Rally and Scholarship Drawing encourages students to work hard in school.

Qualified eighth grade students will have the chance to win scholarships and other prizes.

Ninth through 12th grade students will have the chance to win those same prizes plus a 2016 Toyota Corolla during an official 6:30 p.m. drawing in the Brian I. Tatarian Grandstand.

The 4.0 & Above Program was expanded to include eighth grade students in Fresno County to further broaden the reach and impact of encouraging students to work hard in school, and allows the fair and its partners to recognize these students for all their hard work and incredible scholastic achievements.

It also provides another opportunity for all Fresno County schools to encourage students to work hard all year round to keep up their grades for a lifetime of rewards.

The rally takes place at 6:30p.m. Wednesday October 5th at the Fair.
