According to a recent study by Wallet Hub, the personal finance website, cities in the Central Valley rank among the least educated in the United States.
Out of 150 metropolitan areas ranked, Fresno was 145, Modesto came in at 146, Bakersfield at 147 and Visalia/Porterville ranked 148.
The study takes into account 9 different metrics, from percentage of adults with bachelors degrees and higher, the educational gap across different races and genders and the quality of higher education in the area.
