FRESNO (KMJ) – Wednesday, August 3rd is the last day to nominate area women for the “She Makes A Difference” Award
One woman will be selected and a $5,000 grant will be given to the community benefit organization of the winner’s choice.
California Women’s Conference Marketing Director Jan Edwards says PG&E and CCWC will acknowledge this woman by highlighting her exceptional accomplishments.
The “She Makes a Difference” Winner will be recognized in a video at the CCWC keynote luncheon and will be recognized at the CCWC Cool-Down Reception.

KMJ is a sponsor of the Women’s Conference held September 20th at the Fresno Convention Center.
Contest Rules & Details
Women may nominate themselves or another woman who they feel deserves this honor. Please note, nominees must not receive any compensation for any portion of the service associated with this nomination. Volunteer work must be ongoing and include at least six months of service.
Must be a legal resident of the 50 United States of America and the District of Columbia. Void in other US territories and where prohibited by law.
Winners will be selected by a coalition of community leaders.
A check for $5,000 will be awarded to the community benefit organization of the She Makes a Difference Award winner’s choice at the CCWC Grant Reception to be held in May of 2017.
You may nominate from July 3, 2016 – August 3, 2016.
Winners will be notified on Sept. 1, 2016
