FRESNO (KMJ) – The CCSPCA has been helping the Valley’s homeless animals for 70 years.
Their mission for the entire 70 years has been trying to end Fresno’s pet overpopulation problem by spaying and neutering, educating the public about the importance of being a responsible pet owner, providing low cost vaccinations, and the benefits of adopting.
SPCA Spokesperson Thalia Arenas says the 5th Annual Bets for Pets Fundraiser is one the SPCA’s largest money-making events to help them offer low cost pet spays and neuters.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Spay/Neuter, Foster Care, and Educational Programs that strive to end a serious homeless pet overpopulation in the Central Valley.
The event takes place under the stars at Engelmann Cellars filled with live music by The Valley Cats, BBQ Dinner by Chucks BBQ Catering, dessert by Gorilla Gurt, wine provided by Engelmann Cellars, beer provided by Tioga Sequoia, a fabulous silent auction, and raffle prizes.
The mobile adoption trailer will be there with adorable animals looking for loving forever homes
The CCSPCA will be having an adoption special the entire day of August 20 in celebration of their 70th Anniversary.
Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, de-worming, microchip, Fresno City dog license (if applicable), flea/tick treatment, and a complimentary exam at the CCSPCA Small Animal Hospital, or by one of their participating veterinarians.
