FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Stress is probably not what Dwight Yoakam and Buck Owens were looking for on the “Streets of Bakersfield.”
However, according to WalletHub, Bakersfield is the most stressed city in the State of California, and ranks 38th on the list of 150 cities examined throughout the nation.
Analysts took into account several factors, including job security, housing costs, divorce rates, poverty rates, and crime stats.
Fresno’s not too far behind Bakersfield, coming in at 44.
As for most stress city in America: Detroit.
The least stressed city, according to WalletHub: Fremont.
