FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has released the names of two homicide victims found Wednesday. The homicide victim found at a property on South Blythe Ave on Wednesday near Caruthers has been identified as 49-year-old Rafael Garcia of Fresno. Police said on Wednesday they believe Garcia may have been a farm labor worker in the area.
The Coroner’s Office has also released the name of the homicide victim found in the city of Mendota on Wednesday morning near an apartment complex. She is 30 year old Joanna Maya of Mendota.
Both of the homicides remain ongoing Fresno Sheriff’s Office investigations.
