(KMJ) A Corcoran woman is jailed on animal cruelty charges after shooting and killing a family member’s dog Wednesday night.
Police say 31 year old Sheena Martin admitted to shooting the 8 year old border collie with a rifle and then dumping its body in the garbage.
Her bail has been set at $50,000. Officers say when asked about the deadly incident Martin told them the dog “needed to go”.
