FRESNO (KMJ) – Fresno police are crediting a CrimeStoppers tip for bringing in Most Wanted suspect Adell Vaughn III.
The 19 year-old was wanted for shooting at residents of an apartment complex on January 26, 2016, and shooting at the Fresno Police officers attempting to arrest him on January 27, 2016.
On Friday morning, June 24th, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Fresno Police officers responded to a residence in Southwest Fresno and surrounded the location.
They had received a CrimeStoppers tip earlier in the evening that Vaughn was inside the house.
Officers called the occupants out of the house, and Vaughn surrendered without incident.
He is now facing multiple charges including attempted murder of police officers.
