FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The San Joaquin Valley Business Conditions Index was above the growth-neutral threshold for the thirtieth consecutive month.

Fresno State’s Craig School of Business predicts continued economic growth over the next three to six month, with the index having risen to 51.2 in May.

Manufacturing and construction were strong, but employment was somewhat weak, and falling commodity prices, as well as, global weakness, are weighing on expectations.
