FRESNO (KMJ) – Fresno Police responded on Wednesday June 22, just before 1:30 to a call of shots fired from a Black Mercedes at another car near Fresno and Santa Ana Streets.
Police officers combed the neighborhood near Ashlan and the 41 Freeway in Central Fresno looking for two suspects .
That’s the area where FAX Officers located the Mercedes – but the car that was shot was not found.
Police Lt. Joe Gomez told KMJ that one suspect tried to hide in a house in the neighborhood and broke a window to get inside but was caught by police.
The suspect (photo above) was sent to CRMC with an injured arm.
Police were still looking for the other suspect and closed Ashlan in both directions.
Ashlan was reopened around 3:00p.m.
