FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — As many as 2 million children and teenagers a year.

According to the CDC, that’s the estimated figure of young people in the U.S. who experience a concussion each year, from sports or play activities.

Researchers say many of them receive no treatment.

The CDC intends to a create a system to track concussion rates, and identify which activities are riskiest.
