FRESNO (KMJ ) – The Fresno based Central Valley Astronomers (CVA) is one of the oldest clubs of its kind in the country, founded in 1952.
The CVA held a star party on June 11th at the River Park Shopping Center, which gave people the chance to see the International Space Station pass overhead.
The CVA encourages attendance at one of their events, whether you are an experienced observer, an aspiring stargazer or a student of Science.
The club is a mix of observers and astro-photographers, hobbyists and professionals eager to share the sights of the sky with others.
All ages are welcome and there is no cost for admission
