FRESNO (KMJ) – Pawsitive Adventures Animal Camp is holding sign-ups for a furry summer adventure for kids.
The Central California SPCA has created their first-ever summer week-long summer camp, dedicated for children 8 to 12 years old.
Under the supervision of the Education Department, kids will learn basic animal care and responsibility for pets, have hands-on experiences with shelter animals, and learn how to be advocates for animals in our community.
Campers will also create animal related crafts, make pet treats, listen and learn about animals from guest speakers, and much more!
Camp will be held daily Monday, July 18 thru Friday, July 22, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
There are only 20 spots open for this year’s camp. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
The price for camp is $160 for the entire week! Early drop off and late pick up times are available for an additional cost ($15 per day per child).
