FRESNO (KMJ) — We now know when Hillary Clinton will be speaking in Fresno.
Saturday June 4th – doors open at 5-30pm and the former Secretary of State is set to start speaking around 7pm.
The location is southwest Fresno’s Edison High School.
“We’re getting phone calls, or I’m getting phone calls from people volunteering”, says Fresno County Democratic Party’s Doug Kessler. “People are actually calling us asking ‘what can we do’, ‘can I have a yard sign?'”.
He adds that the recent endorsement from Governor Brown should help secure the California primary.
“I think it’ll probably be closer than we would like, but I believe Hillary will come up on top. She’s certainly going to come out of California with enough delegates to be the nominee”.
Hillary Clinton’s trip to the valley comes after visits last week from her husband and former President Bill Clinton, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, and her competition for the Democratic presidential nomination Bernie Sanders.
