FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — More controversy stemming from reports that the former Silver Dollar Hofbrau restaurant on Shaw Avenue off Freeway 41 will become a Hustler Hollywood store.
The store is known for its lingerie, sex toys, and other adult material.
However, City of Fresno Spokesman Mark Standriff tells KMJ News, “The new owners have not submitted any plans to the City for tenant improvements, nor has there been any zone clearance issued by Planning for the use. There have also been no permits issued for construction or demolition on that property.”
Standriff adds, “The property is zoned CG, Commercial General, and the new Development Code does not permit an Adult Oriented Business in this zone district. The City is sending a building inspector out to the site to stop work.”
