FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Relay for Life gets underway Saturday morning at Sanger High School.
Pam Viar, a committee member, says they’re raising money for “research and truly to educate our community, on what we can do to prevents cancers.”
This year’s theme is “Relay Through the Decades;” get ready to hear an expansive selection of tunes.
Relay for Life Community Manager Michelle Blancas says you should bring a comfortable pair of shoes and some water.
Blancas adds that you should “be prepared to listen to some amazing speakers, fabulous entertainment, some emotional moments during our Luminaria ceremony, where we honor and recognize those that have survived cancer.”
Sanger High School is located on Bethel Ave. off of Jensen.
