FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Full-fat dairy, such as whole milk, appears to be better for your health than low-fat products, such as skim milk.

Adults with high levels of full-fat dairy byproducts in their bloodstream, tend to have a lover risk for diabetes, according to a study published in the journal Circulation.

Researchers say it’s not exactly clear why that’s the case.

However, they believe consuming high-fat foods helps keep you full longer, resulting in overall lower calorie consumption.
