(KMJ) – Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Ag Task Force have booked two men into the Fresno County Jail for Ag theft and drug possession.
On Tuesday, March 15th, Ag detectives went to a home on the 3300 block of Stathem Street in Riverdale. Deputies say they were serving anan active warrant for a misdemeanor crime to 30-year old Jason West. Detectives arrested him and searched his home. Inside they say they found marijuana and a methamphetamine pipe. Detectives also developed information about one of West’s friends, 39-year old Gurinder “Paul” Singh. He was identified as possibly being responsible for a recent burglary.
Detectives then visited a home on the 13000 block of S. Elm Ave. in Caruthers and found Singh. A probation search revealed evidence that linked Singh to the burglary. Detectives also discovered narcotics.
West and Singh now face charges of burglary and drug possession. Both are on active probation. Deputies say their arrests are a violation of that probation, which makes them ineligible for bail.
