Fresno Man Arrested After Brief Police Pursuit

(KMJ) – On March 12th, Fresno police were called to the 200 block of N. Van Ness Avenue for a male subject behind the wheel of his truck going in and out of consciousness.

When they arrived and made contact with the man, identified as 43-year old Cory Scow of Fresno, Officers noticed signs of possibly being under the influence of a narcotic.   When they asked Scow to get out of his vehicle to evaluate him, he started his truck and took off.

After leading officers in a short pursuit Scow was arrested.  During the search of his vehicle a semi auto Walther 22 Cal. was located. The handgun had 10 rounds in the magazine and a live round in the chamber.

Scow was booked into the Fresno County Jail on numerous charges including an active warrant for carrying a loaded firearm in public and concealing firearm in a vehicle.
