FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — 75 percent of U.S. drivers are afraid to get into a self-driving car.

That’s the among the findings of a new AAA survey, which also says that motorists whose vehicle are equipped with partially autonomous features, are more likely to trust the new technology.

Researchers say some of the basics of self-driving technology, can already be found in many vehicles built today.

The more experience one has with these features over time, the less they’re likely to fear autonomous technology.
