Fresno is one of three Valley communities that will share 500-thousand dollars grant money from Kaiser Permanente to build new three new playgrounds.
Kids from Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries (FIRM) put crayons to paper to draw their dream playground, which will ultimately become a reality with help from Kaiser Permanente and organizers from national non-profit KaBOOM!
Elements from their drawings will be incorporated into the design of the playground.
Volunteers and Kaiser staff will built the playground on Saturday, April 23rd in the area outside the front of the FIRM ministries.
