FRESNO (KMJ) — A California non-profit is being granted access to personal information about the state’s children.
The data is being handed over as the request of the ‘California Parent’s Association’ and Morgan Hill Concerned Parents Association.
It’s as a result of a lawsuit filed against the state’s department of education, to determine if schools are breaking federal laws when it comes to educating those with disabilities.
The database will enclose what the ‘concerned parents association themselves describe as “confidential” information, but they add that they have tasked a cyber security expert to help secure it.
There is a form for concerned parents and students who don’t wish to have the information that the California Department Of Education has on record, to be disclosed.
A link to that form can be found clicking here.
