(KMJ) Did you feel it?
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck just after 3pm Tuesday shaking much of the central valley.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the epicenter was near Big Pine – just south of Bishop.
The temblor rattled the KMJ studios in NW Fresno and was felt as far south as Bakersfield.
There are no reports of any damage or injuries.
The initial quake was followed by several aftershocks – the largest registering 4.3 magnitude.
