(KMJ) Paul George grew up idolizing Kobe Bryant. He loved the Mamba’s talent, work ethic, drive and someday – maybe – he’ll win his own championship rings.
After their final meeting Monday night in Indy, Kobe, who’s retiring, generously gave the former Fresno State Bulldog his game-worn sneakers.
The LA Laker gifted the shoes to PG13 after George, who scored 24 points, led the Indiana Pacers past Kobe and Lakers 89-87.
Pictures of the gesture have now gone viral.
