(KMJ) – The doors will open on Saturday, February 6th, for an estate sale at a very flamboyant home in Fresno’s Tower District.
The house is quite the spectacle say liquidators and spouses, Susie and Dan Cobb.
“We call it the Bling House – it’s all purple and pinks, flowers and feathers.” – Susie Cobb, Cobb Estate Liquidators.
“Gold and glitter and there’s probably 5000 little purple Christmas lights that he had painted himself because they didn’t make Christmas lights in purple.” – Dan Cobb, Cobb Estate Liquidators.
The Cobbs are liquidating the estate of Fresnan Vaughn ” Desmond” Alexanian, the owner, who ran a floral shop in Fresno back in the 60s and 70’s.
“He just collected all kinds of eclectic art and sculptures, his home was featured in Homes & Gardens in November of 2005, and in Fresno Magazine and other periodicals and magazines, nationwide.” – Dan Cobb, Cobb Estate Liquidators.
It actually made Better Homes & Garden’s list as one of the weirdest homes, and the Cobbs say people will want peek inside.
