FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Underemployment is a problem that is most evident in California, according to Gallup.

The percentage of underemployed adults — those who have yet to get full-time employment — stands at 17.9 percent. That’s the highest rate in the nation.

The states of New York, New Jersey, and Florida also have an underemployment problem.

The most robust labor markets in the U.S. are said to be around northern Great Plains state and the nation’s capitol.
