(KMJ) A Fresno couple is jailed on numerous charges including burglary, weapon possession, drug possession and probation violations.
The Fresno Co.Sheriffs Dept. took 22 year old Patrick Kasper and his girlfriend 20 year old Dianna Henson into custody Tuesday afternoon.
Both have extensive criminal histories, according to deputies.
On Tuesday, a detective saw Kasper and Henson walking near Highway 99 and Olive Ave. The detective stopped to talk with both of them because they were wanted felons. Kasper was found to have a loaded gun and a key to a room at a motel located on N. Golden State Blvd. Detectives searched the room and recovered several items which were stolen during different burglaries at homes in north Fresno.
A break in this case came early in the day on Tuesday. A deputy located an SUV parked near the intersection of Palm and Santa Fe Avenues. The SUV matched the description of the vehicle used during a January 7th burglary at a home near Gettysburg and Del Mar Avenues. In that case, $4,000 worth of jewelry and electronics were stolen. People matching the descriptions of Kasper and Henson were seen near the home at that time.
Detectives also say that they found Tangelo fruit, inside the SUV. They say the suspects left Tangelo peels on the floor of one of the rooms of the house burglarized on January 7th.
